| Description: | As a member of the Sales team you will be responsible for developing and executing customer development strategies in order to deliver profitable sales in accordance with company’s short and long term growth goals and objectives.
Synchrony possesses world-class expertise in the development and manufacture of mechatronics – intelligent systems comprised of mechanical and electronic components. Our unique and proprietary systems magnetically support and spin high-speed rotating machinery. |
| Duties: | Responsibilities will include:
• Develop in-depth customer understanding – organization, business setup, strategies and their critical success factors. Uncover customer specific needs for a successful cooperation with Synchrony and map Synchrony value levers to the customer’s market strategy. Understand the customer’s decision making process and key buying criteria.
• Drive profitable sales growth through development and implementation of key account business plans. Develop relationships (national & international) at all levels of the key account. Negotiate and close with a value creation mindset, monitor for future sales opportunities and continuously improve account profitability.
• Develop and own the business case for customer projects: to include the scope, timeline, critical success factors, milestones and roll-out plan for commercializing the output of the customer project. Coordinate actions with cross-functional Synchrony team to ensure understanding and commitment from all team members/parts of the value train. Manage and document opportunities during each stage of the sale pipeline.
• Proactive development of compelling value proposition to key customer, applications and markets in reference to competitive and/or existing solutions. Follow and communicate market and application trends, customer intelligence, and competitors’ activities for a respective market segment.
• Developing and using hardware and software to test product features. |
| Qualifications: | Qualified Candidate will possess:
• BS or MS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10 years in technical sales within B2B manufacturing environment. Experience to include direct account management with multi-million dollar accounts.
• Relevant work experience in (one or more of) the relevant vertical market sectors: Air Compression, Air Separation, Oil & Gas/Petrochemical, and Defense.
• Participation in strategy development and execution.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
• Must exhibit unwavering integrity.
