| Description: | As a member of the Research and Development team, the Senior R & D Electrical Engineer will be responsible for performing a variety of engineering activities, related to the electrical design of multiple electrical drive control and power conversion products. In addition, this position is accountable for complex problems where analysis of situation data requires an in depth evaluation of various factors. Must have the ability to design machine control systems and related software.

| Duties: | Responsibilities will include:
• Responsible for the analysis, design, development, documentation and verification of major circuit modules in power processing electronics.
• Responsible for contributing to program planning, budget, and schedule for their design tasks and for successful completion of planned tasks.
• Apply advanced techniques and the modifications and extension of theories, precepts and practices in electrical engineering and related sciences and disciplines.
• Assess the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering verification/validation tests, products or equipment, or program functions.
• Developing and using hardware and software to test product features.

| Qualifications: | Qualified Candidate will possess:
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• 10 years of electrical or electronics experience developing products for industrial applications.
• Should posses the knowledge and skills to apply engineering principles, theories, and concepts acquired through education, training, and previous experience which demonstrate Strong attention to detail, Strong familiarity with high speed motors, power electronics, controls, and embedded systems.
• Proficiency using CAD, Solidworks, FPGA and the C programming language preferred.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems firmware development methods, tools and strategies.
• Power supply and power conversion device design experience.
• Extensive circuit design experience.
• High power switch and power supply design experience.
• Extensive experience with industrial drives.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully balance the development of multiple concurrent projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work on problems & projects of diverse complexity and scope in a detailed and organized manner.
• Self-motivated, responsible, open minded individual with ability to think through complex situations and to prevent, identify, and resolve issues.
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision as well as on project teams.
• Ability to articulate issues/concerns to peers and other groups.
