| Duties: | Analyze application data / physical model to assess performance impacts to the underlying infrastructure.
Technical lead in designing systems with Oracle RAC and ASM capabilities to provide high availability solution.
Assist in defining the architecture for a large ERP re-engineering project.
Work with various entities internal and external to the company to define the As-Is state and the To-Be state of systems.
Work with Business teams to develop Business Process Models. Work with Development, and Implementation teams to design, develop, and deploy these processes and required infrastructure.
Preferred: Technical knowledge in Peoplesoft and RETEK platforms.
Participated in ERP implementations in a lead role in a technical capacity.
Oracle 10g/11g on AIX and Linux Platform.
Oracle RAC and ASM expert. RAC experience needs to include working experience in - planning, designing, developing, deploying and supporting RAC environment.
Site Disaster Recovery Engineering (Experience developing solution for DR site; standing up DR site expert)
Performance engineering - Support performance testing; identify tuning and design changes to gain performance.
Engineering Large Scale Database Design and Tuning
Must have strong hands-on Oracle 10g experience, excellent performance tuning tasks.
Must have good communication skills, must be a team player and should be willing to take 24X7 on-call responsibility.

| Qualifications: | Six years of solid Database Architect/Administration experience. Experience installing, configuring, tuning and troubleshooting database applications and databases.
Experience as a senior Database architect/administrator for Oracle Database. Should be able to Analyze application data / physical models.
Required: Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field (Math, Engineering, CS, CIS, etc.)
with six years of experience as a Database Architect/Administrator
Or a Bachelors Degree from a four year college or university in Computer Science or related field (Math, Engineering, CS, CIS, etc.) with nine years of experience as a Database Architect/Administrator.
Or experience of 12-15 years as a Database Architect/Administrator.
