| Description: | The Supply Specialist/Supervisor is primarily responsible for the identification of the source of supply that will meet Moog's requirements for best value, on time delivery and high quality. |
| Duties: | This role requires knowledge of key commodity markets, contracting and negotiations and interaction with various departments to match supplier capabilities with design requirements. The processes used to accomplish these tasks must be compliant with the documented systems and procedures. The Supply Spec./Supervisor will be expected to understand the business product needs, including supporting cost, delivery, and quality improvement programs with existing and new suppliers. This position requires the ability to work globally and with other Moog sites in a team environment. This position will require supervison of other Purchasing team members. |
| Qualifications: | The Supply Specialist/Supervisor should have previous experience with an ERP system, proven capabilities in procurement practices and supplier development in a technical environment, strong organizational and communication skills, minimum of Bachelors Degree required. Strong background in information technology, previous supervisory experience preferred. |
