| Description: | Modea is currently looking for a QA Analyst to coordinate and execute quality assurance testing activities for Fortune 1000 brands. In this position, the Analyst will assist developers in building test-first development plans, leverage existing and assist in identifying and implementing testing tools; gain a clear understanding of project requirements and specifications, determine complete scope, complexity and size of testing effort in order to develop and execute test cases; ensure compliance with testing best practices and standards; report on QA status to the project teams. |
| Duties: | • Develop, implement, and enforce QA processes, policies, procedures, and best practices to include testing of software across multiple hardware and software platforms.
• Build and manage testing infrastructure for enterprise-class server systems in areas including load, performance, functionality, stability, security and integration tests.
• Understand website requirements read from a Word or Excel document.
• Document and standardize the use of testing tools.
• Click through all screens listed in the requirements to ensure website is free of bugs and errors.
• Execute a pre-defined test plan to ensure all client requirements are met.
• Assist in managing the change control process (i.e., review, approve, document and track all change control requests).
• Log all errors in company QA system.

| Qualifications: | • Strong knowledge of IT, software development, QA and operational activities as well as related processes, policies and procedures.
• Attention to detail must be paramount.
• Minimum 3 years of software QA experience.
• Ability to use Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills. Self-starter and proactive.
• Ability to work within deadlines.
• Experience with Mantis Issue Tracking software a plus.
