Description:Capital Asset Exchange & Trading, LLC, which owns the online marketplace CAE Online, is a leading global comparison shopping platform for buying and selling secondary capital assets in the semiconductor industry. Buyers and sellers come to CAET to purchase and sell secondary semiconductor assets through its safe, reliable, and demonstrated platform while experiencing the best selection, prices, and configuration options available. CAET is currently the largest comparison shopping platform in its end market, is high growth, and is recruiting additional professionals in its CA office and for the launch of its Roanoke, VA office.

CAET seeks to rapidly scale its team and platform, by adding intelligent, driven, and accomplished professionals who would like to be the part of building a significant firm and winning in its market. CAET grew well in excess of 100% in calendar year 2008, and over 250% year to date for 2009 (through August). This growth came through adding and training new professionals, winning market share, providing new levels of professionalism and responsibility to the industry, while leveraging CAET’s reach and informational advantages. CAET is privately held, debt free, and profitable.

CAET is seeking to add approximately 8 professionals, on an immediate basis, to its new Roanoke, VA office and welcomes talented, capable applicants. The most successful candidates and employees will have the opportunity to grow within the firm and enter a management program, which will include the opportunity to lead a team of professionals as a Director; additional advancement is available to superb professionals. CAET plans to continue building its VA office, in tandem with its CA expansion, during calendar year 2010.
Duties:Your major responsibilities will be to create and manage transactions to closure:

• Serving potential buyers looking to purchase secondary semiconductor capital equipment
• Serving potential sellers looking to sell secondary semiconductor capital equipment
• Matching buyer requirements and seller items for sale
• Negotiating price and terms with both buyers and sellers
• Setting and managing client interactions and equipment inspections
• Completing transaction closing items (working with logistics providers, the Finance Department, and ensuring customer satisfaction)
• While professionals are based in Menlo Park, CA, and Roanoke, VA, their transactions are global and an ability to work with non-U.S. buyers and sellers is important.
Qualifications:Qualifications Required:
• Forensic attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Bachelor degree from an accredited institution. MBA or similar degree is a plus
• Minimum GPA: 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale)
• Top quartile standardized test scores
• Debate or negotiation skills, either in an academic or professional setting
• Historical success in a client facing role, especially in sales
• Team player willing to coach and be coached by colleagues. Open to development and improvement (i.e., aware of weaknesses and focused on constant improvement)
• Professional appearance and demeanor
