| Description: | Harmonia is a small and growing company in search of developers excited about pushing the boundaries of technology. We are seeking Senior Developers with experience in developing software tools for cancer research and medical statistics to join our software development group.

| Duties: | • Take a leading role in research, design, and implementation of solutions for challenging problems.
• Participate in product design and planning.
• Mentor junior developers.
• Translate design requirements and specifications into successful implementations.
• Create external design documentation.
• Proactively enforce standards and best practices.

| Qualifications: | • 5+ years of prior professional experience including system analysis, software design and development in C#, VB.NET, C/C++, Java or related technologies.
• Background in one or more of the following: statistical methodologies, bioinformatics, biostatistics, genomics, data mining, business analytics
• Experience with one or more statistical packages: SAS, STATA, SPSS, S-Plus.
• Experience with one or more of the languages used for statistical calculation engines: R, C++, Proc IML in SAS, Gauss, S.
• Experience building add-ins for Excel a plus.
• Strong programming skills with a good understanding of project cycles, software development environments, and source control techniques.
• Ability to identify, prioritize and execute tasks to meet critical project deadlines.
• Work well in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to author technical papers and reports.
• Experience bringing a software product from development to market.
• 4-year college degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Due to the nature of our work, must be US citizen. Ability to obtain or have security clearance.
