| Description: | Harmonia is a small and growing company in search of developers excited about pushing the boundaries of technology. We are seeking Senior Developers with prior DoD or Navy project experience to join our software development group. |
| Duties: | • Take a leading role in research, design, and implementation of solutions for challenging problems.
• Participate in product design and planning.
• Maintain high levels of knowledge, skill, and competencies in software development for an extensive range of project types.
• Mentor junior developers.
• Translate design requirements and specifications into successful implementations.
• Work in a team environment and share knowledge.
• Create external design documentation.
• Proactively enforce standards and best practices.

| Qualifications: | • 5+ years of prior professional experience including system analysis, software design and development in Java, C/C++, C# or related technologies. Eclipse plug-in development and/or NetBeans experience a plus.
• Experience in any of the following technologies: Adobe Flex, AJAX, .NET, J2EE, JMS/ MQ, XML, Spring, Struts, Hibernate, Web Services, SOA, PKI.
• Experience with one or more of the following application servers: WebLogic, WebSphere, Glassfish, Oracle Application Server, JBoss, Windows Application Server.
• Experience working with relational databases and XML databases a plus.
• Strong programming skills with a good understanding of project cycles, software development environments, and source control techniques.
• Ability to identify, prioritize and execute tasks to meet critical project deadlines.
• Work well in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to author technical papers and reports.
• Experience bringing a software product from development to market.
• Prior DoD or Navy project experience a plus.
• 4-year college degree in Computer Science or related field,
• Due to the nature of our work, must be US citizen. Ability to obtain or have security clearance.
