| Duties: | • Take a leading role in research, design, and implementation of solutions for challenging problems.
• Participate in product design and planning.
• Mentor junior developers.
• Translate design requirements and specifications into successful implementations.
• Create external design documentation.
• Proactively enforce standards and best practices
|
| Qualifications: | • 5+ years of prior professional experience including system analysis, software design and development in java, C/C++, prolog or related technologies.
• Prior experience developing algorithms using one or more of the following: machine learning, anticipatory learning classifier systems, cognitive systems, expert systems, inference, genetic algorithms, case based reasoning, planning systems, abduction, semantic analysis of text.
• Ability to identify, prioritize and execute tasks to meet critical project deadlines.
• Work well in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to author technical papers and reports.
• Prior experience with major DoD systems like DCGS or GCCS or C2BMC or C4I a plus.
• Experience bringing a software product from development to market.
• 4-year college degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Due to the nature of our work, must be US citizen. Ability to obtain or have security clearance.
