Description:At SoftSolutions, you will have the opportunity to learn a wide range of practical and highly marketable Software Engineering skills. We are currently seeking an entry level Technical Support professional. This position requires experience, training and a deep passion for working with relational databases and a wide range of software tools such as MS Access, MS SQL Server, Visual Studio, and HTML editors. Most importantly, we require a strong work ethic and a positive/can-do attitude that will help us accelerate SoftSolutions recognition as a global software provider within our target markets. SoftSolutions is seeking a team-oriented, high-energy, committed individual who is ready to embrace the opportunities of an entrepreneurial organization with high growth potential. The ideal candidate will be someone with at minimum a 2 year associate’s degree or equivalent work experience with a focus upon database technologies involving aggregated records queried from a normalized relational database. If you do not have any such experience working with concepts such as database queries involving Inner or Outer Joins using Group By aggregation – you need not apply for this position. There should be clear evidence of an eagerness to learn and grow professionally. Multi-tasking and juggling a range of priorities should come easily. Both written and oral communication skills should be outstanding. Duties:Assist with customer support calls as first level triage in the troubleshooting process Assist on the 24 hr phone support rotation schedule Assist in the maintenance of SoftSolutions' bug tracking system Assist in the software QA testing process Software development using MS Reporting Services
Qualifications:Minimum 2 year associate degree in IT MS Access, SQL, Reporting Services Crystal Reports, ODBC, SQL Queries Excellent communication skills
