Description:Virginia Western Community College is recruiting for a part-time Information Technology Specialist I (Media). The position will support audio visual, multimedia, and theater operations to include equipment setups, installations and operation.

This is a part-time, wage position that is limited to working a maximum of 1,500 hours in a 12-month period. Must be available to work a flexible work schedule, up to 30 hours per week, which will include weekends and evenings.

Qualifications:Knowledge of materials, tools and techniques used in stage, television, film, and multimedia work such as video, lighting and sound equipment, operation of standard media production equipment, including use of a computer and applicable software. Must be available to work a flexible work schedule, up to 30 hours per week, which will include weekends and evenings.

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in technical theater, radio/television production, film/digital video production.
