| Description: | This job is within the System Operations Team of ADMMicro/GridPoint C&I located in Roanoke, VA. The position will focus on broad support for microprocessor-based electronic products. Duties will involve remote and on-site support including installation assistance, trouble-shooting, on-site test and inspection, creation of technical documentation, construction of equipment test stations, and assembly of electronic circuit boards |
| Duties: | Support of Products and Systems
• Technical support of in-service systems, including installation assistance, trouble-shooting and on-site test
• Develop equipment installation and operating manuals
• Work closely with Help Desk/Commissioning groups in remote troubleshooting of system operation
• Work closely with System Operations Engineers in remote and on-site testing and troubleshooting of system operation
• Validation and system integration testing
Other
• Assist with training and professional development of other employees and contract installers
• Construct product test stations
• Solder and assemble prototype electronic circuit boards
• Carry out other technology and business support as may be assigned by the position supervisor

| Qualifications: | • EDUCATION
o AAS, Electronics Technology or equivalent education and training
• DESIRED EXPERIENCE
o 4 years
o Must be capable of reading an electrical schematic
o Computer aided drafting experience a plus
o Must have excellent communication skills
o Must be able to work in a close team environment
• TRAVEL
o Up to 25% travel time may be required
