Description:JPI is seeking a well-rounded technical services manager for its Blacksburg office. The candidate will have experience with setting up office networks, server management with an emphasis on virtual machine management, various database servers, setting up and supporting laptops for remote employees, experience with backup and restore for servers and remote users, and all aspects of general office support. Specific technologies the candidate must have experience with include Windows Server, Microsoft Office software, Windows Active Directory, Oracle Server and Lotus Notes/Domino. The candidate should demonstrate a desire to learn new techologies and to grow beyond a support management role. The candidate should demonstrate experience in one or two of the following: advanced work with MS Excel, Visual Basic programming, work with MS Access, work with HTML/XML, work in multimedia training, install programs, or any sort of in-depth programming knowledge. Experience with Blackberry Professional Server, Quickbooks server, software testing, and CISCO ASA firewall devises a plus.
